New Year's Eve

If you don't know this already, New Year's Eve is my favorite holiday. To me it means a new beginning. The start of a new chapter in life. Another year of gaining wisdom. Another journey with God. Another year to experience God's word, beauty, and just learn about him. So as we go through this year, try to learn something new everyday about God, his creation, or even your relationship with the Heavenly Father.  That's my challenge for all of you this year.

Four Challenges

Well here's the first challenge.

Endor brought this up in an email.

Everything we do points to God, which can be good or bad. And when we tell people we're Christians, that makes people watch us even closer, waiting for us to slip up so they can say that Christians are just like everyone else.

The question my youth pastor asked us was: What five words describe you? He said we can't answer those ourselves....those around us have to answer them.

So that's exactly what I want you to do. Ask your friends to describe you in 5 words, whether they are good or bad. Hey if they're good you can always improve, and if they're bad, well...you have your whole life to fix that!

The second challenge is....

Read the Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. If you are going to read this book, please comment below, so I can ask you questions on the book.  Thanks!

Read Colossians and give us your thoughts on the passage.

Comment your favorite song at the moment. :)
