Romans 8:28 & 1 Corinthians 10:13

Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.


These are such a simple, short verses, but I believe they have a lot to teach us. Even though we're Christians, things aren't always going to be easy for us. In fact, life will often be very difficult. However, as Christians, we know that God is leading and guiding our lives, and He is aware of every minute detail. Nothing gets past His watchful eye because He is in control of everything.
If we were able to see the bigger picture of our lives, we would understand why God allows us to go through trials and tribulations. We only see one part of the picture; our individual lives. We can take comfort that God sees what we're going through and knows what's right for us. He will not allow us to go through something that we are not able to bear, and He will always give us a way to escape.
Both of these verses are good to read and study when one is going through hardships, and they're also good to devote to memory. I encourage you to think on them yourselves, as verses often mean different things to different people. I can interpret them to you the way that I see them, but the study of the Holy Bible is something that should be done often as an individual effort.
