Christian Movies

Hi Everyone!
How many of you are interested in Christian movies?
Sadly, not many people go to the theaters to see the latest Christian blockbuster. The last time I went to a Christian movie, the theater was practically empty, and that was on opening weekend. My family and I try to support Christian movies by going to see them at least once when they come out, sometimes twice. Because of the small amount of people interested in Christian movies, the filmmakers of such productions don't make much money and therefore can't afford a large budget with their films.
The truth is, the world of Christian movies is still developing. There are few Christian movies that have the budget to make breathtaking special effects and heart-stopping action sequences. However, should we allow this drawback to keep us from seeing the films?
Consider this; think of the most amazing non-Christian film you've ever seen. Honestly, what was the point of that film? Even further, what is the point of ANYTHING you do, watch, read, listen to, etc. that's not glorifying to God? Now don't get me wrong, there are tons of movies that I simply love that aren't Christian movies, but it's important to keep them in perspective.
All this being said, I suggest that we, as Christians, support all of the Christian films that pop up in the box office. I will be keeping an eye on the Christian films and will keep y'all updated on A Walk With God. I hope that at least a few of you share my vision that one day the Christian film genre will develop into something solid, something that we can be proud of. This cannot happen without our support, however.
